The Country 2002 b.jpg

Established at the heart of Tel-Aviv, 2000, Alon Segev Gallery was the first to bring forward the international notion of a large minimalistic space, completely detached from the street, giving full focus to the art exhibited. This has become our main architectural theme, following us through 20 years of activity and 3 historic locations.

First opened at 23 Shaul Ha’Melech Boulevard, Tel Aviv, in close vicinity to the Tel-Aviv Museum of Art, Alon Segev Gallery has exhibited world renowned artists such as Tel Aviv based artist Sigalit Landau (‘The Country’, 2002), Brussels based artist Wim Delvoye (‘Selected Works’, 2006) and London based artist Kevin Francis Gray (‘Kevin Francis Gray’, 2022).

As the Israeli art scene developed, Alon Segev Gallery moved to its second location at 6 Rothschild Boulevard, Designed by ar studio (Arnon Nir & Ishai Breslauer architecture). Once again, the gallery was built as a space separated from the street. Its clean white cube shape gave way to extraordinary exhibitions by leading artists such as Gideon Rubin (Lavan, 2011) and Eitan Ben Moshe (The White Light, 2014).
